WIPEOUT!

WIPEOUT!

Where there is a homemade WipeOut course, there will be……..

trash talkin & line fightin….

Splash tacklin…

Water sloshin..

Baby Watchin….

All around good times!

We constructed a pvc pipe water works contraption that hooks up to the waterhose. The kids loved it! I would love to take credit for the idea, but the Family Fun Magazine is actually the mastermind behind this! It was super easy and very affordable…paired with a small pool filled with bubbles, and parents/grandparents throwing water balloons, it made for a great WIPEOUT obstacle course! So much fun! *Yes I said Grandparents…my parents are here from New Mexico…the kids are having a grand time!

Wow, that looks refreshing! And fun – for the kids AND the adults!

    1. Yes, the water balloon I caught with the face was quite refreshing!!! 🙂

Too bad Sophie’s not there to play! She would love it. I took her to Grandma Rivas’s today so she could swim in her mini pool. After a little while of playing, I had to refresh the water because she dumped soil from the wheelbarrow in it and made it muddy water. Then after she was done and dressed, guess who I found sitting in her pool soaked, shoes and all! This girl is gonna be the death of me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this idea – I’m looking for more activities to do at my daughter’s birthday party this weekend and I think I’m going to try this. Can you share more what you did for this? I know the post is 2 years old now, but hopefully you might still remember?

    1. Hi! I just bought pvc pipe from Lowe’s and the elbow, T, and end connector pieces. Then we cut them to size (hand held saw), drilled holes in the ones we wanted to spray water from and then assembled. It’s best if you decide on your *plan* before you get started. I don’t have the exact plan, but you can look on Pinterest and find many similar ideas/plans! Hope this helps!

Actually, I meant what else did you do for the wipeout activities? Whatever you did, it sounds like it was fun!

      2. OOps! Sorry about that! We set the PVC course up and about midway through we hung wiffle balls they had to dodge, grandparents stood on both sides of the course and threw water balloons as they went through, we set up inflatable stand up balloons they had to tackle and a swimming pool filled with bubbles (they had to tackle the balloon into the water). Once in the pool they had to find 5 colored rings (they each had to find a certain color) amongst all the bubbles and then dump them in a bucket and ring a bell for their timed run to stop! Quickest one through won! So much fun! Hope this is more helpful! 🙂
