What are you planting this year? Let me know your favorite garden tips or tricks! My best tip would be to stake those tomato plants early…they’re a bear if you wait until their bigger..and I speak from experience!
Happy garden planning…can’t wait to hear from ya’ll!
How soon will you be able to begin? It varies so much from one hardiness zone to the next!
This is my first year veggie gardening. I’m loving it so far! (Live in Florida, so we’re underway already). I have beans, tomatoes, hot peppers, zucchini, cantaloupes, spaghetti squash, onions, spinach, tangelos, grapefruits, peaches and passion fruit in the garden currently, all at various stages. I’m plotting the future expansions gleefully too.
We’re zone 7, so I wont be planting outside for about another month! I would sure love some of your warm weather right about now! Tangelos huh? I would love to be able to grow citrus trees…don’t think I’m in the right area for that though! 🙂 Sounds like your gonna be quite busy too…Can’t wait to join you out in the “trenches”!
I’m on the border of zones 9 and 10. We honestly have far more warm weather than I care for; I have to run the a/c 11 months out of the year! But having a garden this year is helping me cope with the loss of cooler weather LOL. I look forward to photos and updates from your garden as the season progresses!
