Can you believe this was 15 years ago today? Yikes! Were does the time go?

Wow, I didn’t know a darn thing about marriage then… I sure know a lot now! Here’s a few things I’ve learned about my husband in the last 15 years….

I can shrink all of Chicken’s shirts and he doesn’t really mind…at least I don’t think so!

He will eat burnt food….and the only thing he’ll ask about it is “Did you follow a recipe?”

He doesn’t mind if I don’t get to the laundry for a few days….he’s ok with running out to the store for a bag of clean underwear!

He lets me do all the dishes…..somehow he knows just how much I love to do them!

He will do all the grocery shopping if I let him…..I think he found out I can’t stick to the list!

He loves to make me play twenty questions when I ask a ‘silly’ question….Me “What time is Beau’s game tomorrow?”…Chicken “Angela…think about it..what time are Henry & Samuel’s games?” What?????

He has the best timing of anyone in the world….He can swoop in to pick up the baby just as I finish with the poopy diaper every time….amazing, really!

He’s the ‘go to’ man in the house for math homework….I tried to help once and helped my son get a C!

He will only tell me once “this comes from your side of the family” while we are in the ER waiting room!

Pizza will always be the food of choice when he’s left with the kiddos!

He will always suspect that I’ve hidden his wallet & keys for my total entertainment! However entertaining, “I had nothing to do with it”!

He’s the best Daddy my kids could ever have…..seriously ya’ll…he’s coaching 3 soccer teams, one of which involves all 4 & 5 yr. olds…that’s pure love right there!

If given the chance, I would choose him all over again…there would be a ‘dirty socks off the floor & furniture clause’, but I’d still choose him!
