Ok, so I got the rare chance to go shopping (gasp) ALONE the other day, and I must say it was quite productive….for Nora anyway! You’d think after 3 months of constant baby, that the chance to go shopping for MYSELF would have me in a state of giddiness as I browsed perfumes, jewelry, shoes and anything else not related to motherhood! But alas, I found myself drawn to the baby aisles like a squirrel to a nut! Don’t get me wrong, there were a few moments when I found myself in the misses section, but after looking at shirts and testing them for ‘easy boob access” (breastfeeding mind you), smelling toiletries that would repel any baby, looking at jewelry that would either end up as a chew toy or a pull toy, and shoes that only a magazine mom could find comfortable, I found the baby section to be soothing and comforting! Then it happened….I found the tutus! Pink ones, blue ones, black ones, yellow ones, black ones with yellow stripes, pink ones with leopard print….whoa my head was spinning! I decided on a pink one for little Nora..which totally needed a headband with a flower to go with it! By the time I was done Nora had a couple of new hats, the crocheted kind..also with flowers, and pink and red tights to go along with her tutu and headband! Then I rushed right home to play ‘dress up’ ! Girls just wanna have fun right?

Aww…That’s so cute! Just not the same shopping for boy stuff, all mine want are the kind with sports logos on them. ugh! I’m hoping for the same opportunity you have gotten. Time will tell. 🙂
Oh my gosh, that is just too cute! By the looks of it, Nora loves dress up too!
