The boys on the first day of school, which was yesterday! They had a great time and were really excited to go. Samuel started a new school yesterday as he was accepted into a new program called STEM. It stands for science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The kids get to do lots of experiments and lots of hands on learning and they team up with the Navy base here with lots of field trips and mentor/volunteer programs! It should prove challenging, but very rewarding for him..he loves the sciences so this is right down his alley! I was most worried about the transportation part of it as he rides a different bus to this school. When I asked him about his route on the way home he said “I don’t remember, Liam and I were playing punch buggy”! Some things will never change!

Was I lonely after the boys were off to school? Nope…look what arrived! The box! I have been waiting for this box for over a week now..and it finally made it here!

What’s in the box you ask?

My Mrs. Meyers Products! So, while the boys were away, Henry and I washed dishes with the dish soap, loaded the dishwasher and ran it with the dishwashing detergent, washed baby clothes in the laundry soap..don’t forget the dryer sheets, plugged in the scent diffuser, (which works wonders in the bathroom), refilled all my multi-purpose cleaning spray bottles (I have 2 upstairs and 1 downstairs…boys are dirty!), and set out all the hand soaps in the bathrooms! All in all you could say we ‘lemon-verbena’d the entire house, and boy does it smell good! I realize this makes me look a little OCD with the cleaning supplies, but I can’t help it….this stuff just smells so good! Oops, I forgot to add that I also bought a body soap in this scent as well…I’m putting it in my hospital bag to smell while I’m in labor! Now that I read that, I’m beginning to think that I AM absolutely crazy! Oh well, at least my La-La Land smells good!
